Research In
Motion (RIM) release news that BlackBerry 10 devices are now in carrier testing
in over 50 carrier labs. The question is what carrier testing mean ?
Carrier need to
testing technical step before to launch to market, the testing covering
functional tests, certification test, inter operability testing (network
component). All test like milestones, carrier make sure that this product can
usefull or useless in some condition.
After all test
hardware and software, the next milestone is commercial and legal aspect betwen
RIM and carrier.
